Tasmota integration doesn''t read a sensor · Issue 50291 ...
20210501· The problem is that Tasmota sends two sensor values during discovery, in later stage the FW detects that there is only one sensor so it stops sending values for the 2nd one. This is why emontnemery wrote above that it is a workaround. It is only prevent exceptions, the correct way to fix it is in the Tasmota FW. emontnemery mentioned this issue May 11, 2021. 20210419· Whilst going to Tasmota (from Shelly) firmware allowed the device to auto recover/reboot without me needing to reset the circuit breaker there was some strange behavior happening.. ghost switching and MQTT and retain.. which was resolved by using SetOption19 1 and having Home Assistant discover and manage the device. As well as a motion sensor to trigger the light, I wanted the physical …
Sonoff basic with Tasmota PIR and relay as two separate ...
I connected a PIR sensor to GPIO14 of my Sonoff. it all works fine in HA. Is it possible to separate the PIR and the relay as two separate devices in HA? This way I can operate my lamp with one Sonoff and I do not have the click sound of the relay all the time if someone moves and the light is already on. This is my configuration in HA: light: platform: mqtt_json name: “SN1 LED” state ...
PIR Sensor with Wemos D1 Mini and Tasmota
20190930· PIR Sensor with Wemos D1 Mini and Tasmota. I ordered a couple of these AM312 PIR sensors from Banggood recently, to test using them in a multifunction sensor with Tasmota. There is some good information on configuring Tasmota with …
Sensor API Tasmota
The "sensor mode only" (without the chirp function) is the preferred sensor variant for Tasmota. It provides additional temperature readings. Chirp! is a plant watering alarm which uses capacitive sensing to measure moisture. It provides ambient light readings and works in Tasmota, but is not the recommended version.
PIR Motion Sensors Tasmota
PIR Motion Sensors. PIR motion sensors, albeit called sensors, are configured as switches in Tasmota since they basically report motion (1) or no motion (0) to the device. Most PIR''s are single wire and they require connecting to VCC, GND and one GPIO. In this guide we will use GPIO13 as the pin that the PIR output is connected to. See PIN Restrictions on which pins not to use. Tasmota ...

D1 Mini Tasmotized + Motion Detection, RGB, Temp ...
A PIR sensor is really just a switch. It’s either on or off. It turns on when there’s motion, then quickly back off again, then back on briefly if there’s still motion. It doesn’t stay in the on position when it detects motion. Since it acts like a switch we select “switch” as the device type in Tasmota. If you already have a switch (like a touch module) as Switch1 then make the ...
Can anybody explain a newbie how to connect a PIR sensor ...
If PIR is active, it raises the out pin to ~3V and the transistor is switched on. The LED lights and GPIO14 will be switched LOW. Regardless os SwitchMode is set to 1 or 2, the sonoff sends MQTT /cmnd/switch02/POWER2 OFF for this LOW input on GPIO14. For the sonoff tasmota I configured "GPIO14 sensor" to "10 switch2".

Support for PIR AM312 Sensor · Issue 3029 · arendst/Tasmota
20180620· I bought a couple of PIR AM312 motion sensors thinking that I would easily be able to add them to my Sonoff Basic but couldn''t find this sensor in the list of available for GPIO14 and there is nothing in the wiki about it. The goal was to attach them to the Sonoff''s inside light switches so they can turn the lights on or off based on motion level.
How to Get PIR Sensor to show in Home assistant using ...
20190522· Hi Guys. I have a sonoff basic with Tasmota firmware. I have a PIR connected to GPIO3 (can use 14 if need be) I do not want to use PIR to trigger the sonoff relay. I am only using Sonoff as means of using MQTT to be able to set some automatons using MQTT and or Service calls. So when the motion sensor triggers, I would like it to send a message to turn a hue light on, in daughter’s bedroom ...
